Adults should be reassured that we only keep an emailing list of
adult supporters of Home Library. We will occasionally mail supporters
to update them on forthcoming events and activities. However, supporters
must ask us to join the mailing list. Please be assured that we
do not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease email addresses on our list
to anyone.
Cookies:
We do not use cookies on the Home Library website, except for the
proforma in the Braille section, which is a standard cgi-script.
Browser
information: Like all websites, Home Library analyses its website
logs in order to understand the extent of the interest in the site
and to review ways in which it can be improved. Please rest assured
that the Home Library website logs are not personally identifiable
and we do not try to link them with the people who may browse the
site.
Children
12 and younger
The Home Library Website includes lots of features that can be enjoyed
without submitting any information at all. But if youre under
the age of 13, and you think you will want to submit some information
to us, then we need to get permission from one of your parents or
your legal guardian beforehand.
If
you submit a book review or competition entry and we decide to post
it on the Home Library website, we will only include your first
name and your age.

There are many activities on the site that your child can participate
in and enjoy without having to share personally identifiable information.
We never impose conditions on a childs participation in any
activity, nor require the child to provide more information than
is reasonably necessary for us to administer the activity. You may
